Cheesy Broccoli and Chicken Casserole
Ingredients
500g Cooked Chicken, Diced
1 Cup Cooked Rice
1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 Cup Milk
2 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
2 Tablespoons Butter
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
Salt And Pepper to Taste
Olive Oil (For Greasing)

- Preheat the oven to 180°.
- Steam the McCain Frozen Broccoli according to the package Method until tender.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the all-purpose flour to create a roux.
- Gradually add the milk to the roux, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and becomes smooth.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, mixing until the cheese is melted, and the sauce is creamy.
- In a greased baking dish, layer the cooked rice, diced chicken, and steamed broccoli.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the layers, ensuring everything is evenly coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 - 25 minutes until the casserole is bubbly and golden on top.
