Aloo Tikki Masala
Ingredients
                McCain Aloo Tikki - 8 Aloo Tikki’s for this recipe
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion chopped
Cinnamon stick
3 cardamom pods
2 cloves
2 teaspoons crushed garlic
Sprig of curry leaf
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon turmeric
2 teaspoon chilli powder
1 can chopped tinned tomatoes
1/2 cup of cream
1 teaspoon garam masala
Chopped coriander
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
                
                        Prep Time: 5 minutes 
                        Total Time: 20 minutes
                    
- Bake your Aloo Tikki according to packaging instructions
 - In a pot sauté onions in oil
 - Add cinnamon stick, cardamom pods and cloves
 - Allow the onions to brown and then add the garlic and curry leaf
 - Add all the spices except for the garam masala
 - Mix well with the onions and garlic
 - Add the chopped tomatoes and salt
 - Allow to simmer for 10 - 15 minutes until the tomatoes have softened and oils rises to the top
 - Mix in the cream
 - Place your cooked Aloo Tikki’s in the prepared creamy gravy
 - Sprinkle with garam masala and chopped coriander and switch the stove off
 - Serve with rice, roti or naan bread
