Beef Stroganoff & Fry Chips


McCain Fry Chips  

800 grams beef rump cut into strips

400 grams chopped mushroom

1 chopped onion

3 teaspoons crushed garlic

2 tablespoons

2 teaspoons paprika

2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce

250 ml cream

300 ml chicken stock

Chopped parsley

Salt and pepper to taste




Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes

  1. Cook McCain Fry Chips according to package instructions
  2. Season the beef and fry in batches and set aside
  3. To the same pan, add the chopped onions and cook until translucent
  4. Add the garlic and stir well
  5. Next add the mushrooms and allow to cook for 5 minutes
  6. Add 2 tablespoons flour and paprika and mix well
  7. Now slowly add the chicken stock and allow to reduce – about 4 minutes
  8. Add the Worcestershire Sauce followed by the beef
  9. Now add the cream and switch of the heat
  10. Season with salt and pepper
  11. Place the chips on a plate and top with the creamy stroganoff
