Loaded Veggie Burger
Ingredients
Olive oil
1 onion diced
3 cloves garlic minced
2 red chilies
2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 bay leaf
1 tin chopped tomatoes
2 tablespoons masala
2 tins chickpeas - rinsed and drained
1 small red onion diced
1 teaspoon garam masala
Mint chutney
Chopped coriander
Pomegranate seeds
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes
- Cook McCain Veg Burgers in an air fryer on 175 degrees for 15 minutes
- In a large pan, heat the oil and add the onions
- Allow to caramelize before adding the crushed garlic, cumin seeds and bay leaf
- Add the chopped tomatoes and masala and cook for 6 - 8 minutes
- Add the drained and rinsed chickpeas and simmer for 5 minutes
- Adjust seasoning
- To assemble
- Place the Veg Burgers on a serving platter
- Pour over some of the chickpea masala
- Drizzle with mint chutney, chopped red onions, garam masala and pomegranate seeds and enjoy
