Portuguese Chicken Rolls & Chips
Ingredients
McCain Sea Salt & Pepper Oven Chips
600 grams Chicken fillets cut into strips
1 tablespoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon chilli flakes – more if you prefer it spicier
1 teaspoon Italian herbs
1 teaspoon chicken spice
Salt and pepper
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
3 tablespoons hot sauce of choice
1 tablespoon tomato sauce
1 teaspoon mustard
1 bay leaf
3 teaspoons butter
Portuguese Rolls
Mayonnaise
Red onions Lettuce

Directions
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes
- Cook the McCain Oven Chips according to package instructions and keep aside
- Mix the chicken with the garlic, chilli flakes, Italian herbs, chicken spice and pepper
- Fry the chicken in batches and keep aside
- To the same pan add, the rest of the sauces with the butter and let it simmer on low
- Add the chicken back to the pot and simmer for 2 minutes
- Assemble the Portuguese buns with toppings of choice
- Serves with a side of McCain Oven Chips
