Spaghetti Bolognese With Carrots
Ingredients
                400 grams McCain Diced Carrots
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion diced
Few sprigs of fresh thyme
600 grams beef mince
4 cloves garlic crushed
2 Tablespoons tomato paste
2 teaspoons Italian herbs
1 beef stock cube
¾ cup water
700 grams passata
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
500 grams spaghetti
Salt and pepper

                    5 - 6
Directions
                
                        Prep Time: 5 minutes 
                        Total Time: 30 - 40 minutes
                    
- Cook the spaghetti and set aside
 - Heat a large casserole on medium to high heat, add the oil, onions and thyme and allow to caramelize
 - Next add the crushed garlic, diced carrots and beef mince and allow to brown
 - Add the beef stock, tomato paste, Italian herbs and water – mix well
 - Now add the passata and soy sauce and allow the sauce to thicken on med to low heat - about 10 minutes
 - Adjust seasoning
 - Once cooked, toss with spaghetti and sprinkle with parmesan cheese
 - Enjoy a delicious home-made Family Meal
